Alessandra Conte (she/her) is an Italian actor, writer and director based in Treviso, Italy.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in foreign languages, and other than Italian speaks English and Spanish. She has graduated with an MA in Contemporary Performance with distinction at Liverpool Hope University.
She has acted in the queer short film Phantom Touch and My Choice, both directed by Nicolò Grasso. For the latter, she won the Best Actress in a Short Film award at the Sofia Art Film Awards and the film was given the Best One Actress Short at the Avalonia Festival of Short Films.
She has experience as a production assistant both in music videos and short films.
She was also one of the lead performers in Izzie Major’s show funded by Arts Council England CURTAINS CURTAINS CURTAINS CURTAINS CURTAINS which was part of the Angel Field Festival in Liverpool.
She completed her second experimental film Passing Through, which she directed, and recently filmed I deserve better and I have nothing to offer, directed by Ege Elbir.
